You raise me up...

"'To get something you never had, you have to do something you've never done. When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better. "
I saw this on a friend's myspace and thought wow this is soo true. God wants us to have the best and he wants us to be our best. Trust in Him and He will take care of you. When I gave my life to the Lord- I realized I am in better hands now. My life has turned around so much. I have awesome friends in my life that lift me up and not drag me down. I had to let go of most of my old friends. I remember saying these words to someone..you become who you hang out with...and you do...hang with the devil and you become one of his. Choose your company wisely! I am a child of God and a woman of faith. Thank you, God! I had someone to tell me their problems and said to them..Pray. They replied, " I pray everynight" Pray for what God wants not what you want. Ask for strength. Ask for faith. Open your heart to the Lord and He will open your eyes.

Thank you for sharing this Jennifer. I know so many people who need to hear this and I will share.
I am so thankful for Godly Nurses who touch the lives of so many. I just posted a great article on myspace about a Dr who prays over all his patients and has seen many healings and people raised from the dead.
Be encouraged today, you are the daughter of the KING!

It's a coincidence that this blog is titled, "Walk by faith...not by sight". I just learned today from my dogs veternarian that Lilly (my Yorkie), has Glaucoma (a disease of the eyes). Jenn knows that Lilly is my baby (because I have no human babies)and that she is my responsinility and my provider of comfort. Lilly is soon to see a dog opthamologist and I pray that she will not experience pain or loose her sight because of the disease. Jenn, please pray for Lilly with me. The vet told me that Glaucoma can be painful. Your blog said "trust in Him and he will take care of you". I don't want Him to take care of me at this time. I need Him to take care of Lilly. All creatures, great and small, right?

Lord, please take care of Lilly. As you know, Lord she is such a precious gift to my friend. You are a great God and you will take care of the great and small. Lord, I ask that you please give Allison, the strength and the courage she needs right now. Cover both Lilly and her with your healing hands and comfort, Lord. You know what is best for all of us and we thank you, Lord for all you provide. In your Holy and precious name Amen.
Trust him and He will take care of your needs. I know you love Lilly. I remember when you first brought Lilly to LCC. I will continue to pray for Lilly and you. If you need me, I'm here. (HUGS)
