You can catch more flies with honey than vinegar

I was sitting here thinking about some past conversations with someone. They had asked, "Why can't I be someone who is wealthy and have it all...I do good for people I meet and I get nothing in return." Well honey here is the good to glorify God not to glorify yourself. I posted a blog last month (pride and confidence). It talks about the difference between pride and confidence. Pride is something that glorfies you and Confidence is something that glorifies God. A lot of people do nice things and give to charities and expect their life to be wonderful. It doesn't work that way. When you do something, do it from the heart not for popularity reasons. Do something that glorifies God and something that pleases him. Its always good to do good things but do it for the right reasons. God knows your intentions and he always will. Give your heart, soul, and mind to the Lord and do good and you will be rewarded.

Amen to that!! Everything we do or say should be God-breathed not for selfish ambitions. Your post is a great reminder of that. Have a bless weekend!!

I agree. I've never been about the money. For me it's about love & respect.
