Tonight in Bible study we talked about Pride and Confidence. What is the difference. Well, Pride is something that glorifies you and Confidence glorifies God. We all have been filled with Pride at one time or another and to be honest it sometimes consumes us. We are too prideful to love someone because of being hurt in the past or in some cases we refuse to love someone because of various reasons (distance, family, work etc). We hold grudges against people and that can consume us and make us lose ground with God. I had something for almost a year now that I was holding against someone that said something terrible to me. I asked God to forgive me as I forgive that person for what they said. I refuse to let Pride take over me. I would rather be filled with Confidence and glorify God than to let the Devil break me down. If the person that said that terrible thing to me is reading this..I forgive you. All I can say is you let your Pride take over and let something that could have been good go. I wish things could have been different. So much I wanted to say and do but like you I let my pride consume me. I let go and let God....you see in the final analysis it's not between me and you..it's between you and God. I continue to pray for you and I still care....no matter what.
