As the days count down to Christmas, I have found that Christmas is becoming more materialistic and commericialized than anything. When you walk into a dept store you are greeted with "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas". Walking down aisles you see people so worried about if they are going to get what is on a Christmas list. What happened to Christmas, the time of the year when giving is better than receiving? What happened to celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ died for our sins; the world didn't die for us yet the world engulfs us and drains us from our faith and turns our focus away from God. When celebrating Christmas this year remember what Christmas is all about. It's more than about Santa..it's about God giving us His only son and His son dying for us. Do you think Walmart would die for you??? Hope everyone has a wonderful and blessed Christmas!! And don't forget to celebrate Jesus' birthday! <3
